Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business. He has spent over 7 years in the technology industry across several industries and utilizing various tech tools, with a particular emphasis on React and Ruby.
Fun Facts
What is your philanthropy? Why does it resonate with you?
Economic and climate justice. I want people to live healthy, dignified lives. I'm concerned about the water scarcity and crop failures that have been forecasted, and I've seen too many people stay in untenable living situations just so they'd have a bedroom and their meds. When I can put money or labor towards these two fronts, I make sure to do so!
What are you dying to try but haven't done yet?
Spend a week or two in Manila, Philippines. I have some close contacts there (some who've been in the US, some from online), and it'd be more about community for me than tourism.
What do you like but are embarrassed to admit?
Anime. Plenty of it's cringe, but there are so many uplifting vibes and valuable themes in the space that I really wish came up more in Western art.
What are people often surprised to learn about you?
I got paid to do ballet in a commercial once.
