Stephanie Schatzel
Senior Project Manager
Fan of the Real Futbal
I don't have a lot of hobbies, but I have spent a lot of my life on a soccer field. As my life has changed, I've found that watching traditional futbal is a lot more interesting than American football.
Meet Stephanie
Stephanie started her career in event planning with an internship at a Department of Energy National Laboratory, Jefferson Lab, located in Newport News, VA. She spent 1.5 years as a full-time student with a part-time position, learning the ins and outs of government conferences and meetings. After graduation from Old Dominion University with her Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management, Stephanie was hired full-time at Jefferson Lab into a Public Affairs position. She handled all on-site tours of the facility. After 6 months in that position, there was an opening in the event planning department, and Stephanie shifted into her full-time career as an Event Planner. Throughout the 10 year career at Jefferson Lab, Stephanie learned every aspect of the job. She handled logistics, contracts, budgets, catering and everything in between. When the opportunity for a move to eventPower fell into her lap, she was excited about the opportunity to expand on her knowledge and learn more about the events industry.
